350mm Aperture Series: Radio Antennas
This aperture series was shot in an attempt to obtain the best possible image quality at 350mm.
Elevation approximatly 10,500 feet. Temperature approximately 60°F with late-afternoon sunlight striking the scene and likely creating localized hot spots of temperature.
Test protocol
Shot as follows:
- Lens foot was the Really Right Stuff LCF-53 clamped into an Arca Swiss Cube tripod head with RRS B2 Pro II clamp atop a sturdy RRS TVC-34L tripod.
- Lens and camera positioned behind large SUV to block window movement.
- Focused once at f/4 for the series at 10X Live View.
- Image stabilization OFF.
- Canon Live View Mode II for vibration free shutter release; Canon remote release used; Live View monitored at 10X to watch image go entirely stable before pressing release.
