Gray skies today, but awesome because a small fraction of the usual visitors, so it’s nice and quiet. It rained very hard all night long (a rather pleasant sound on the van roof), with the result of some road damage and brisk creekflow in the normally dry wash. I had never seen any water flowing here before. Awesome day, even though the sun didn’t ever show itself fully.
Sometimes an iPhone just gets the job done with panoramas. I shot a few while doing lens evaluations. Truth is, I like the panos I shot today better than the “real camera” images. Why don’t any of the mirrorless cameras take a decent panorama without any hassle? Some try but shutter bang and crappy interface make it problematic. My guess is that the CPU in the iPhone is probably 10X more capable than the ones in cameras.
