Looking for Zeiss ZK for Pentax K1
See my Pentax K wish list at B&H Photo.
See my in-depth review of the Pentax K1 as well as related lens reviews using the K1 in SuperRes mode.
Zeiss ZK lenses are the DSLR ZF.2/ZE style lenses with Pentax K mount. They were discontinued 3 or 4 years ago.
I still have the K1 here. Its SuperRes pixel shift mode offers the best image quality on the market today (better than some medium format cameras). So outstanding that it’s a bit frustrating to look for fine detail in Sony A7R II or Nikon D810 files—it’s just not the same.
For years I have shot Zeiss DSLR optics on Nikon and Canon, so I’m keen on seeing how they pair up with the K1 SuperRes mode.
If there is a reader out there with a Zeiss ZK wides or 50/2 or 100/2 Makro-Planars, I am interested in borrowing it.
Readers have written to tell me that the 18/3.5, 21/2.8, 25/2.8, 28/2, 35/2, 50/1.4, 85/1.4, 50/2 and 100/2 Makro-Planar were made in Pentax K mount.
