I’ve refreshed my article Calibrating the NEC PA302W and other NEC Displays with the latest settings and preferences I use for calibration.
As shown below, the NEC PA302W has a fantastic color gamut (its gamut is the colorized area). It is capable of showing a far wider range of blues, reds and greens than either AdobeRGB or Apple’s newfound support for DCI(P3) aka Digital Cinema (DCI).
Also, the NEC PA302W color gamut is much broader than the new late 2015 iMac 5K. The clear choice for those who take color seriously is the NEC PA302W, not the “better than before” iMac 5K.
