Leica M Typ 240 / M240 with 50/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH
The Leica M Typ 240 Live View and EVF seem almost expressly designed to support the accurate use of the 50/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH, long a frustrating lens to shoot on the M9, though with beautiful results.
Now in Guide to Leica are examples with the 50/0.05 Noctilux-M ASPH taken in conditions too dim to focus in using the M9 predecessor to the M240. At retina resolution as usual.
My experience with the M240 focusing in very dim light is discussed with pairs of images with the Noctilux, showing what is now feasible. The Noctilux becomes a far more viable lens on the M240 with near-perfect focusing.

The Digital Leica comes of age... at last.
The first three images display the wide open magic of this lens camera combo.
The Deck chair wide open is a picture, stopped down a very expensive snapshot, great stuff Maestro.
DIGLLOYD: wide apertures or small ones can help or hinder or be overused and cliched in both cases.
